The italian band Malibran was born in 1987, in Catania - Sicilia. At the beginning they had a different drumer and a solo vocalist (metal-styled) that were replaced later. In July 1989 WAS Prog Festival held in Rome with four bands Participating: Malibran, Leviathan, Edith and Notturno Concertante. After this show Their first album The woods of Tales Appeared in 1990.
